Dear MTBO mappers...

Have seen many of MTBO maps in the recent years, some are better, some are worse. But after seeing THIS crap, I need to post some tips for drawing a map. Hopefully somebody reads that.
Fist af all, an orienteerer mapper and map drawer (automatically). You need first to learn principles of cartography and some points of view about mapping. See my basic presentation (in Estonian) what I posted in October, 2010. There are no verbal comments with presentation, you can ask me.
Secondly, we have nice document called ISMTBOM (version 2010) to follow. It is not very difficult to update maps from 3×2 track symbols to 4×2 track symbols.
Remember that reading a map (on map holder) while cycling is usually more difficult than reading a map (on my hand) while running!
And finally - a good tip about drawing tracks...(see left)
