2nd round of MTBO World Cup was in Leksand and Rättvik, in Sweden. The middle distance was quite technical but even in World Cup, tracks weren't with right symbol at some locations. The terrain was interesting - reljef was partitioned and some parts had dense track network. The weather was unsettled and it started to rain harded after the 6th CP and because of that I "lost" my V-breakes. It caused some risky downhill riding and much slower breaks at controls.
The race itself didn't go well. After 1st CP I still don't understand why I turned so early to right and after that I lost control about my location for a while - very stupid mistake. Stage 6th to 7th CP had route choice - right side: asphalt and loger and left side: track and shorter. I took the shorter choice but the track was much slower that I expected from the map and I lost over a minute. Then it started to go better until 20th CP. After 20th CP I made 2 mistakes on stage - very bad.
Overall, the result could be at lest 8 minutes better. So, there was some potential to earn World Cup points - maybe I can do a clean race in EMTBOC.
